Our Nit Glue Dissolver contains our Enzyme formula for killing lice and removing nits.

It actually has 4 different enzymes in a very specific recipe that literally digests insect proteins. 

What are enzymes?

Enzymes are substances produced by a living organism which act as catalysts to bring about a specific biochemical reaction.

For example, the saliva in your mouth right now contains the enzyme amylase, also called ptyalin, which is capable of breaking down starch into simpler sugars such as maltose and dextrin that can be further broken down in the small intestine. About 30% starch digestion takes place in your mouth cavity.

There are many kinds of enzymes. Enzymes can be combined like recipe ingredients to do certain things.

Our formula digests INSECT proteins. Why does that help you?

First of all, it slows down the bugs.
They can't crawl as fast when their exoskeletons are dissolving. That makes it easier to see them and comb them out.

Secondly, it makes it easier for our Second Formula, the essential oils, to penetrate into the bugs and kill them.

Thirdly, it loosens the protein glue that the bugs use to attach their eggs (nits) to your hair.

That makes it easier to comb out the nits.
